Your responsibilities will include
Operating council trucks, water cart and other plant in a competent, safe and efficient way, transporting staff, materials and equipment. You will provide general labouring assistance, carry out daily checks and basic maintenance of the vehicle/plant, and assist with rectifying defects when required.
To be successful in this role you must possess
A minimum of a HR class driver's licence and experience in efficiently and safely loading and driving trucks with an awareness of the road rules and regulations and the load restraint rules and regulations. You will have the ability to safely undertake the manual tasks of this role and the literacy and interpersonal skills to effectively interpret plans and communicate with the public and team members.

Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council's work locations with notice.
