Your responsibilities will include

Implementing Council's integrated transport strategies through effective leadership of the team and coordinating the planning and design of transport infrastructure programs, ensuring optimal use of resources to meet community needs.  You will prioritise programs, manage complex transport and land use projects, provide strategic analysis and prepare business cases to support Council's 10 year capital works program.

To be successful in this role you must possess

A relevant tertiary qualification and significant experience in planning and designing transport infrastructure programs.  You will have exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills to effectively meet deadlines, build quality working relationships with various stakeholders, present and prepare high quality management reports, and to develop and maintain a work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation and drives ongoing enhancement of efficiency and service outcomes.

Work Location

Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council's work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
