Your responsibilities will include

Providing leadership and technical oversight for the planning and design of stormwater infrastructure and stormwater quality systems within urban and natural drainage systems including piped and open channel drainage networks, stormwater quality treatment systems and water-sensitive urban design (WSUD) elements.  You will lead the team by providing technical expertise and contribute to effective delivery of advance planning for the section’s annual and multi-year works program.

To be successful in this role you must possess

A degree qualification in Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia, registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), and substantial demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role.  You will have industry recognised expertise in stormwater management, and highly developed time management, people and relationship skills.

Work Location

Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council's work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
