Your responsibilities will include
Providing expert advice on the development, implementation and evaluation of technical specifications for the effective delivery of departmental building and maintenance projects. You will review contract and tender documentation, manage contractors/sub-contractors and guide improvement in the operations associated with building and equipment maintenance practices, project management and contract delivery.
To be successful in this role you must possess
A minimum diploma level qualification in a relevant field, current driver's licence and experience in preparing and reviewing technical standards and specifications for the delivery of building and facilities maintenance and renewal projects. You will have the demonstrated ability in effective contract management, a high level of proficiency in report writing and excellent interpersonal skills to be an effective member of the team.

Work Location
Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of Council's work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
