Join City of Moreton Bay as a Facilities Officer - Waste, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a Facilities Officer - Waste you'll be acting as the key point of contact in the day-to-day operations and service delivery of large scale, complex waste management facilities. You'll be implementing and coordinating technical projects aimed to improve effectiveness and efficiencies in waste disposal and resource recovery. You'll so:

Develop and review operational procedures, manuals, and work instructions

Ensure waste management facilities and transfer stations comply with all legislation, approved standards, policies and procedures

Support the outputs of the day-to-day operations across landfill and resource recovery operations

Undertake environmental, health and safety, and contractor compliance audits

Prepare reports, correspondence and carry out administrative activities.

About you
We're looking for and team member with great time management and project management experience, and a focus on risk minimisation and high quality service. You'll also bring:
- Experience in operations of waste management facilities and transfer stations
- Experience in building high quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborative team work approach
- Experience in online research, analysing information and incident investigation.
- Construction Induction Card competency (required)
- Current C class driver’s licence (required).
