Join City of Moreton Bay as the Manager, Project Delivery, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
Our Project Delivery department are responsible for an annual infrastructure program worth approximately $200m. Projects include major intersection upgrades, bridges, sporting facilities, public amenities, stormwater, and marine assets.
Leading this department, you’ll be working with teams of Project Management professionals from a wide variety of specialities, as we deliver varied projects that benefit our City of Moreton Bay residents and visitors directly.
One of our current key projects beginning construction this year is the major upgrade of Youngs Crossing Road, supported by state and federal funding.
As the Manager Project Delivery, known in our organisation as Manager, Project Development and Delivery, you’ll lead the team of more than 60 people, with a strategic focus on effective project delivery and project management practice while strengthening the capacity and capability of the team. You’ll also:
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments, Councillors and community stakeholders to ensure the smooth management of projects, to achieve high rates delivery.
- Resolve operational project delivery and contractor performance issues.
- Manage the operational and financial performance of the department.
- Drive safety, quality, risk and compliance.

About you
We’re looking for your extensive experience successfully delivering Infrastructure Programs and Projects, end to end, safely, on time and budget, and according to quality and environmental standards.
We’re looking for a strong, positive, people leader to lead and develop a high achieving team in our complex organisation, and build excellent relationships across all stakeholder groups.
A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction Management is required, and RPEQ is desirable.
