Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely and effective preparation and evaluation of tenders, negotiating, making recommendations to internal customers and management for approvals, preparing contract documentation, issuing of award of contracts and decline notices, general commercial administration and contract management. You will provide leadership, motivation and guidance to the contracts administration team to achieve outcomes, ensuring work is carried out in a professional manner.
To be successful in this role you must possess a tertiary qualification in procurement, contract management or other relevant field and Construction Induction Card competency that has been used or obtained within the past 2 years. You will have experience in project and contract management/administration for infrastructure projects. You will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contract standards, tender documentation, design drawings, specifications and schedules.

Council’s office locations have local parking on-site and are in close proximity to public transport networks.
Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council's work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
