Your responsibilities will include reviewing current operating processes, procedures, and governance and provide specialist advice in developing a robust, practical resourcing and continuity plan for ongoing management of the WHS Management System. Including facilitating training and education for staff and contract team members regarding WHS management systems to ensure continuous improvement processes are fully integrated into all aspects of their business by conducting reviews of monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual internal audit reports.
To be successful in this role you must possess Tertiary Qualifications in Health and Safety or a relevant discipline with a minimum of 10+ years' experience in safety, including systems design, implementation and review of WHS management systems, design of frameworks, policies and quality reporting mechanisms that enable compliance and continuous improvement working across multiple sites and divisions.

Council’s office locations have local parking on-site and are in close proximity to public transport networks.
Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council's work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
