Your responsibilities will include investigating and resolving requests from the public regarding animals, nuisances, regulated parking, local laws and other community response related matters in a professional manner consistent with organisational standards and regard to powers of entry, conflict resolution and evidence gathering. You will perform compliance patrols within the region, prepare reports and briefs, present evidence in a court of law regarding investigations, and provide excellent customer service, advice, direction and solutions to the community.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated industry skills and experience in the application of local laws compliance activities along with experience in undertaking manual tasks in a safe conscious manner. You will have good numeracy, written and verbal communication skills sufficient to complete paper work, read safety instructions and plans, and to effectively communicate with the public and team members. You will need to have sound computer skills and the ability to quickly develop competency in using Pathway, Objective, Microsoft Office suite, electronic infringement technology and mobile computing devices.

Please note that whilst the current work location for this position is specified above, staff may be required to transfer to any of council's work locations with notice. Council currently has administration offices located at Caboolture, Strathpine and Redcliffe as well as depots, libraries and a range of other facilities located throughout the region.
