- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $72,807 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 5)
- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Burpengary - please note, this position will be moving to a Narangba location in the coming months.

Play a vital role in maintaining the functionality and safety of our open drainage systems. This hands on position involves operating medium sized plant equipment, primarily excavators, to carry out essential maintenance and remediation tasks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating a range of medium sized plant machinery, with a primary focus on an 8 tonne excavator
- Switching between plant items such as skid steers and excavators depending on task requirements
- Using specialised attachments (e.g., flail mowers) for vegetation control and site clearing
- Performing daily pre-start inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational
- Reporting machinery defects, safety hazards, and project-related concerns promptly
- Adapting to varied operational tasks while upholding strict safety and maintenance standards

About you
You're a confident, independent operator who thrives both autonomously and as part of a team.
Ideally, you bring:
- proven experience in drainage maintenance
- proficiency in operating excavators and skid steers in civil construction or similar environments
- versatility in handling various medium sized plant items with precision and care
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A current Heavy Combination (HC) class truck licence
- A Construction Induction card
- Certification to operate both an Excavator (LE) and a Skid Steer (LS)
This combination of hands-on experience and formal credentials will position you to make a meaningful impact in our drainage operations
