The Details:

  • $87,343 pa + 12% super (level 3)
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Location: Narangba

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Construction Support Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Construction Support Officer you will focus on audit activities to support the safety, environmental, and operational standards for the delivery the civil projects including roads, stormwater, footpaths, curb & channel and coastal infrastructure. You'll also

  • Support the design and implementation of structured procedures to facilitate change management across civil infrastructure projects
  • Contribute to site preparation activities including signage placement and hazard identification to promote safety and compliance 
  • Build quality relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the allocation, inspection, and upkeep of construction tools, equipment, and facilities, ensuring availability, compliance, and readiness for safe use.

About you

We're looking for your civil construction knowledge and experience from site and the office, including conducting audits on site, with a strong understanding of the practical implementation of safety, environmental, and operational practices. You'll also bring:

  • Knowledge of compliance on construction sites
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in the safe and appropriate use of construction tools, equipment, and facilities
  • Proven ability to build and maintain supportive relationships across the construction team and stakeholders
  • Construction Induction Card 
  • Current C class driver’s licence required.
