The details:

  • Permanent Full Time
  • $91,222 - $105,192pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loading
    (increasing to $94,414 to $108,873 pa effective 1 July 2024)  
    Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 5 - 6 of EBA5
    The appointed wage level will be dependent upon the successful candidates level of experience, skills and qualifications. 
  • 9 day fortnight
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment

About our opportunity

Our Asset Management team manages the implementation, review and maintenance of Council’s strategic Asset Management practices to managed our assets in an integrated and effective way to meet the needs of the City of Moreton Bay Regional community. Our assets includes roads, paths, buildings, public amenities, parks, drainage, street lighting and coastal assets.

As our Senior Asset Management Engineer, you'll be developing and maintaining effective asset management practices and improvements, preparing and updating Council’s asset management plans.

You'll also be:

  • preparing and updating technical specifications to capture condition and defect data 
  • providing specialist asset management advice to key stakeholders to manage our assets in an integrated and effective manner 
  • identifying and developing asset management practices and improvements including system, business process and technological improvements
  • contributing to a positive team environment
  • building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The team are committed to a culture of collaboration and information sharing and work together in the office on Tuesday and Thursday.

About you

You'll bring extensive experience in Asset Management engineering working with complex assets, and extensive experience applying best practice asset management methodologies.

You'll also have:

  • investigative, analytical and research skills, including using software applications used to record, manipulate and present asset and project programming data
  • experience providing specialist asset management advice to a range of key stakeholders
  • strong relationship management skills
  • Degree in Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia required
  • Current C class driver’s licence required.
