  • Appointment will be for the duration of your undergraduate studies.
  • $34.68 per hour + super (up to 12%)

About our opportunity

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated University Student to work in our Development Services team.

Development Services is shaping a better Moreton Bay by assessing and managing the effects of development on the community and environment of Moreton Bay, working in partnership with the development industry to design and construct infrastructure for the community as well as levying and recovering infrastructure charges to fund new and upgraded major community infrastructure.

Working alongside professionals in this field, you will gain some great knowledge in your studies, and have support and be mentored as you assist the team in general administrative assistance and project support to the planning team to meet the needs of the communities and neighbourhoods within the City of Moreton Bay area.

Your enthusiasm and drive will be paired with exceptional customer service skills as we strive to provide a great experience for all our stakeholders we interact with.

We are looking for someone who is currently progressing through their degree in the field of Town Planning or related, have a great attitude, reliable, and be a motivated individual that can work autonomously and as part of the team.

You will be an avid learner with a passion in your field of study and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with well-developed communication and literacy skills.
