    Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream C) - Level 5 of EBA5
  • 76 hour fortnight, Monday to Friday
  • Location: Narangba

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Graffiti Control Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Graffiti Control Officer you'll be working across the City of Moreton Bay region to remove graffiti with a focus on workplace health and safety and public safety. You'll be part of the planning of the program to carry out regular inspections and to identify highly targeted graffiti sites. You'll also be

  • Ensuring compliance with all legislation, approved standards, policies and procedures
  • Providing sound advice, innovation and problem solving to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to
    Effectively communicating with external parties and authorities including enforcement, advice and reports where required.

About you

We're looking for an experienced painter used to working on a varied range of structural surfaces and finishes, and with excellent people and relationship skills to work as part of the team as well as regular interactions with members of the public. You'll also have:

  • Good time management skills monitor your own work activities and meet deadlines
    in order to meet deadlines.
  • Confidence using corporate systems via a tablet or laptop to deliver on the responsibilities of the role
    position.
  • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or currently working towards completion)
  • Class C Drivers Licence.
