Join City of Moreton Bay as a Project Scheduler and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
Known in Council as the Project Development and Delivery Planning Officer, you'll responsible for project scheduling for our Project Development and Delivery team, supporting the delivery of almost $200m of projects each year including sports facilities, roads, paths, stormwater drainage and costal assets. You'll be:
- Using Microsoft Project to develop and maintain detailed project schedules and identifying and addressing any deviations
- Developing and maintaining master program level schedules through all phases from design through handover
- Preparing monthly reporting, compiling information from multiple sources
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure data integrity detailing project status, exceptions, forecasts and baselines for reporting to stakeholders
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the project management system
- Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure project control processes, procedures and systems are understood and followed, including providing training
- Assisting in compliance audits of standards, policies, procedures, and templates
- Contributing to a positive team environment.

About you
We're looking for a MS Project specialist with existing experience of scheduling complex and varied civil and infrastructure construction projects. You'll also bring:
- Advanced experience with MS Office suit and MS Project, Project Online and Project Web App
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and software including Power BI
- Excellent time management skills to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
- Well-developed people and relationship skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proven leadership experience to motivate and guide team members toward common goals
- Tertiary qualification in project management, data management, or related discipline (desirable)
- Current C class driver’s licence (required).
