About our opportunity
The Weighbridge Attendants at our Waste Management Facilities are the key customer service team for all visitors to our sites, operating the weighbridge system (Mandalay) and as the key point of contact for advice from residential and commercial visitors, on disposal and recycling matters, as well as fees and other policies and procedures.
We have facilities at Dakabin, Caboolture and Bunya with a vacancy currently available at Dakabin. If you'd like to be considered for roles at other sites, you can apply now for future opportunities.
Other activities include:
- Providing assistance to customers ensuring disposal meet all associated statutory and council environmental requirements, from the Weighbridge, and across the facility
- Promoting diversion from landfill and resource recovery
- Working across different areas of the Waste Management Facility
- Handling end to end administration and financial processes
- Ensuring compliance with all current legislation, approved standards, policies and procedures.

About you
Our sites have a high volume of visitors, particularly on weekends, and we need your outstanding customer service and communication skills to engage with a range of different stakeholders from the public to contractors. You'll also have:
- Great experience working on operational tasks in a regulated work environment with health and safety as of high priority
- Ability to work constructively and efficiently as part of a team of weighbridge attendants
- Sound experience in the administration of operational financial tasks
- Current C class driver’s licence (required)
- Construction Induction Card competency (required)
- Available to participate in a repeating roster, including some weekend days (required).
