Our Waste Management Facilities are busy and vital services, with commercial trucks responsible for the 45,000 kerbside collections made each day, as well as trade and domestic visitors from across our region. As one of our Operators you'll be operating a range of heavy, medium and light plant and be focused on the safety of people, plant and environmental impacts across site.
You'll also support other operations activities, and administrative tasks supporting the wider goals of the Waste Services department.

About you
We're looking for team players, used to working in a highly regulated environment and with extensive experience various plant. You'll also have:
- Current HR class driver’s licence (required)
- Construction Induction Card competency (required)
- Certification required in the operation of at least two of the following machines (and willing to obtain certification in the remaining plant):
- RIIMPO321F – Conduct civil construction wheeled front end loader operations
- RIIMPO316E – Conduct self-propelled compactor operations
- RIIMPO320F – Conduct civil construction excavator operations
- RIIMPO308F – Conduct tracked dozer operations
- RIIMPO315E – Tractor Operations.
The team work a 76 hours across a 9 day fortnight, on a repeating roster. Weekend days are required.
