As a Health and Wellbeing Partner you will drive the delivery of the Wellbeing and Safety strategy, and develop effective business partnerships with stakeholders across Council to understand their business requirements, identify trends and develop solutions and strategies to meet operational requirements. About you
We're looking for an experienced health and wellbeing professions, with comprehensive knowledge and experience applying relevant frameworks and legislation including the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003, and the Work Health and Safety Act 2011. You'll so bring:
- Demonstrated problem solving and inquiry skills, including the ability to summarise complex issues in a concise and meaningful way
- Demonstrated experience handling complex health and wellbeing matters, managing return to work processes end to end independently.
- Local Goverment and self-insurance environment experience highly regarded
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Allied Health (eg. Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy),or significant relevant experience
- Certified Return to Work Coordinator or relevant recency of practice qualifications.
