  • This is a Parental Leave relief role and it is anticipated appointment will be until March 2026.
  • $101,881pa + 12% super
    Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 6 of EBA5
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Strathpine

Join City of Moreton Bay as our Graphic Design Team Leader, and help design communications that help deliver clear, on brand messaging for our growing community.

We are seeking a creative mind to lead the coordination and development of graphic design services for our diverse organisation, ensuring both the messaging and content uphold the Council’s corporate style guide and reflect our strategic brand.

Leading a team of 2 graphic design professionals, you will: 

  • Provide expert advice to stakeholders on all aspects of design and production across print, digital, signage, livery and merchandise.
  • Manage the design teams workload and outsourcing requirements to ensure optimal delivery of services.
  • Ensure all requests are managed professionally, timeframes are met, and follow-up actions are executed.

About you

We are seeking someone experienced in coordinating marketing campaigns with the demonstrated ability to deliver effective graphic design collateral, optimising communications and stakeholder engagement.

With your exceptional communication and relationship building skills, you will be well adept at effectively negotiating with stakeholders design outcomes that are aligned with organisational strategy whilst delivering a quality and fit for purpose service. You will also be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite.

The nature of our work means it is often fast-paced and dynamic, and we are looking for someone who can adapt and be flexible whilst meeting those changing deadlines.
