  • $101,881 pa + 12% super
    Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 6 of EBA5
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Strathpine

Take your next step with City of Moreton Bay as a Senior Technical Officer Project Delivery, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow. Projects include local community infrastructure, missing link paths, bus stop renewal programs, and accessible school assets.

As a Senior Technical Officer Project Delivery you'll oversee minor and complex contract projects, focused on supervising the construction process and contractors, carrying out inspections to monitor construction standards and workplace health and safety, resolving technical issues and consulting with management regarding possible variations. You'll also:

  • Undertake investigations and prepare tender documentation and technical reports 
  • Administer both Major and Minor Works contract as Superintendents Representative
  • Provide specialist technical advice, guidance and support to key stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders.

About you

We're looking for your strong experience supervising construction projects, site inspections and understanding of Council's project management systems and processes.

  • Sound knowledge and application of relevant construction and workplace health and safety legislation, standards and other regulations
  • Considerable experience providing specialist technical advice 
  • Strong relationship management, communication, and negotiate and influence skills
  • Current C class driver’s licence (required)
  • Construction Induction Card competency (required).
