- From $94,415 up to $101,881pa + 12% super (level 5-6)

Great opportunity to try something new in a different area of planning and bring your big-picture thinking skills across to the Strategic Infrastructure Planning team as a Senior Infrastructure Planner.
As a developing or senior Infrastructure Planner, you will have the opportunity to help coordinate a future infrastructure program across various infrastructure networks. You will work with a variety of internal stakeholders, across everything from policy development to infrastructure network planning, staging and funding.
- provide leadership and guidance to team members in the delivery of strategic infrastructure planning and policy matters to drive integrated and sustainable planning outcomes.
- assist in the delivery of moderate-to-complex infrastructure planning projects and project teams (including external consultants) to achieve strategic and business outcomes.
- provide senior technical input into the development and implementation of key infrastructure policy matters relating to the planning scheme including amending the Local Government Infrastructure Plan.

About you
We are seeking someone who is a big picture thinker with an innovative and solution focused approach. You will have a collaborative approach with appetite to share knowledge and support the development of team capability to drive a high performance, continuous improvement and customer focussed culture.
You will have knowledge and experience in strategic land use and infrastructure planning. You will have experience in the development of infrastructure planning projects, including leading and guiding project-based teams and conducting evidence-based research to inform policy options and directions. You will bring excellent project management and associated risk management best practices and skills.
Our Strategic Infrastructure Planning team is a technically diverse group, who are highly collaborative and passionate about achieving high quality results for our community. You will hold a Degree in Urban and Regional planning civil engineering and/or another relevant field.
