The details:

  • Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight 
  • $69,141 pa (level 6) + 12% shift allowance + super
  • 76 hour fortnight
  • Location: Narangba
  • Afternoon shift hours - 2:00pm starting time between Monday to Friday (with an RDO every 2nd week) 

Join our team as an afternoon shift Water Truck & Trailer Driver and play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the landscape of our community. In this hands-on position, you will typically work independently to undertake duties such as:

  • Operating a water truck and trailer to water mapped areas within specified timeframes and standards
  • Performing hand watering, establishment watering and applying liquid fertiliser
  • Conducting daily checks and maintenance on trucks, plant, or equipment used
  • Operating other relevant plant/equipment (where trained/licenced to do so)

About you

Ideally, your application should demonstrate recent experience in horticultural water truck and trailer operations. Proficiency in operating a water truck is essential, and a horticultural background would be highly desirable. You'll also have the ability to use a variety of technology hardware to undertake activities relating to this role. 

Safety is a key priority for us as an organisation, and we will be seeking candidates who not only have the knowledge and physical ability to safely undertake the manual tasks required in this role, we want you to have a genuine desire to contribute to a positive safety culture.

Paired with the above-mentioned skills and experience, you will also:

  • hold a current truck licence (minimum class HC - heavy combination) 
  • either hold or be willing to obtain a Construction Induction Card prior to commencement
  • be available for afternoon shift hours starting at 2:00pm across Monday to Friday
