Join City of Moreton Bay as a Projects Portfolio Coordinator and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
This role is an integral part of the Digital Innovation and Technology Department at Council, functioning as the hub that harmonisers the strategic planning and execution phases of numerous projects. The role demands a blend of strategic insight and operational excellence bridging the gap between project teams, stakeholder and leadership. The Projects Portfolio Coordinator ensures the collective success of Council’s projects undertaking efficient project execution, thoughtful use of resources, and alignment with Council’s strategic and corporate objectives.
Additionally, you will
- manage and coordinate the delivery of all Business Projects including an ICT element across Council, fulfilling the role of Project Manager.
- act as a point of contact for ICT Project Management matters by providing sound advice, innovation and complex problem solving
- develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders that will increase the effectiveness of the ICT department
- provide leadership and effective management of systems, processes, costs, quality control, documentation and resources for the program delivery of new business capabilities
- develop and maintain efficient operational and management systems and procedures, and performance measures to continually improve work practices and performance
About you:
We are seeking a professional who will thrive in the delivery of good service outcomes, can work across a variety of projects successfully, and has significant experience managing and coordinating projects.
You will have;
- relevant project and contract management experience in a similar role
- systems experience with administration/management of TechnologyOne ERP is highly desirable
- the ability to successfully lead a project team to achieve timely and effective project outcomes
- a highly service focused attitude and the ability to deliver
- highly developed interpersonal skills, including consultancy and negotiation, with a strong focus on partnering with stakeholders to provide agreed business and technology outcomes
