  • $76,710pa + 12% super (level 2)
  • Great news - EBA6 currently is underway, with a proposed increase of 5% effective 1 July 2025
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Caboolture

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Business Support Officer and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

This Business Support Officer role, reporting directly to the Directorate Business Support Officer-Finance, will provide administrative and business support to the planning General Manager and senior leaders across the planning directorate to ensure effective and efficient delivery of directorate wide operations.

Additionally, you will: 

  • complete general procurement and finance tasks, scheduling training, seminars, transport logistics, and activities
  • ensure appropriate escalation of matters or emerging issues requiring attention
  • prepare correspondence, presentations, and other business documents.
  • provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • assist with customer enquiries and Technology One processes

About you

We are seeking a highly adaptable Business Support Officer who is an administration professional that thrives in a positive, fast-paced working environment. For this role you will have a background and recent experience working in a similar admin/offer role that has seen you work within, or for a large department or organisation.

With your administrative background you may also have experience with general procurement and finance tasks to support with daily and weekly activities. We need you to bring your strong communication and people and relationships skills, be organised and manage conflicting priorities.

You will have:

  • great attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency in all tasks
  • preparation of quality correspondence and documentation
  • be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs and the ability to develop proficiency with council’s software programs such as TechnologyOne; and
  • have a customer service focus.
