- Maximum Term Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- This is a Parental Leave relief role and it is anticipated appointment will be until December 2026.
- $79,563 pa + 12% super (level 3)

As a Project Officer, you will work within our fast-paced team to develop and deliver economic development programs and initiatives. You will also:
- support the delivery of strategic programs and initiatives that stimulate local economic development and strengthen priority industries
- conduct research and analysis to identify and explore opportunities that drive industry innovation, business growth, and regional prosperity
- build and nurture strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- provide high-level administrative support across a variety of functions; events, workshops & external briefings

About you
We are seeking an organised, administrative professional, experienced in supporting the development and delivery of projects and programs, ideally in the economic development industry.
You will be a natural communicator, well versed in building quality working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The nature of our work means it is often fast-paced and dynamic, and we are looking for someone who can adapt and be flexible whilst meeting those changing deadlines.
In addition, you will bring:
- highly detail oriented administrative skills with attention to produce work in a fast paced and highly professional team environment
- excellent time management skills and the ability to understand organisational time frames and expectations.
- ability to quickly learn council's systems and processes to provide support and a source of knowledge for the team.
