The Details:

  • Maximum Term 4 years Full Time
  • TRP from $198,699, pa (inclusive of 12% super and leave loading)
  • 76 hour fortnight
  • 5 weeks annual leave
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.

Join City of Moreton Bay as the Coordinator – Building Operations & Compliance, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As the Coordinator – Building Operations & Compliance you will have highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that ensure quality service delivery outcomes, and enable the development of capital works submissions. You’ll be focussed on:

  • Coordinating Council’s planned and reactive maintenance teams to deliver services on time and within budget, and meeting quality, compliance, safety, and environmental standards
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Council’s building and facilities maintenance and compliance audit program
  • Develop and maintain efficient operational systems and procedures that embed continual improvement into the team’s day-to-day activities
  • Act as a principal point of contact for operations management matters and provide innovative advice and complex problem-solving solutions
  • Ensure modern construction solutions and practices are applied to all maintenance activities within the boundaries of legislated construction standards, ensuring the team maintain suitable technical expertise required for the effective management of external service providers.

About you

We have over 1,800 buildings and facilities across the region, representing a wide range of assets, may with unique and complex maintenance requirements, that’s why we’re looking for your extensive experience in operational and contracted maintenance management working in a multidisciplinary construction context and in a customer focused environment.

You’ll also bring:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to consultant and negotiate, with a strong focus on the provision of high quality data driven customer service.
  • Extensive experience in leading contract management relating to buildings and facilities maintenance to achieve specified outcomes
  • Extensive leadership experience with a strong ability to actively contribute to fostering a healthy, inclusive and well-connected workplace and extensive experience in leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team to drive high performance outcomes.
  • Current C class driver’s licence (required)
  • Construction Induction Card competency (or ability to obtain).
