Join City of Moreton Bay as an Audio-Visual Support Officer and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
We are seeking a skilled Audio-Visual Support Officer to join our Technology Services Team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for AV systems across Council sites, ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional support to our teams and community.
Key responsibilities:
- Responding to and managing AV support requests.
- Troubleshooting and resolving AV issues on-site.
- Designing, configuring, and supporting AV systems for meetings, MS Teams rooms, and Council events.
- Managing AV equipment lifecycle and procurement.
- Collaborating on Council projects and events to deliver seamless AV services.
- Maintaining accurate ICT asset records and documentation.
- Engaging with external AV vendors and working within budget requirements.
- Reviewing and improving AV-related procedures and processes.
About you
You will be a tech-savvy problem solver that enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in providing high-quality support. With a strong foundation in Audio-Visual systems and technical support you will have a customer-focused mindset where you will be ready to take ownership of technical challenges and contribute to a high-performing customer focused team.
You will bring:
- Proven experience in audio-visual operations and technical support.
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence (travel to sites required when necessary)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switches, routers, patching, DHCP and VPN
- Strong computer literacy, including OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Apple OS.
- Good understanding of AV principals and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with users and vendors
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise
