This is an exciting time to come on board! With our new General Manager ePMO now in place, we’re in the process of creating the team who will be key to deliver a high-quality, fit-for-purpose ePMO function here at Australia’s third-largest council.
Reporting to the Coordinator Capital Budget Development, you'll be the go to person for analysis, visualisation and reporting of project data in the planning and governance of our Council wide capital works program.
This brand new role plays a key part in ensuring Council’s annual capital works budget is data-driven, aligned to strategic priorities and capable of being delivered efficiently and transparently.
We'll look to you to:
- Maintain and develop reports and dashboards that track the status, performance and alignment of capital works projects.
- Support the annual and quarterly capital budgeting processes by analysing project submissions, identifying trends and highlighting gaps and/or duplication.
- Consider project prioritisation in capital budget development by capturing scoring data, generating ranked outputs and validating inputs.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders including executives, Councillors, portfolio owners and finance.
- Work closely with project managers, finance officers and asset planners to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.

About you
We are seeking someone with strong experience in data analysis, and an expert in using Excel, Power BI and database/reporting systems.
You will bring a high level of analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and be able to communicate effectively with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You’ll be energised by the opportunity to join at the foundation stage. Your work will help provide meaningful data that supports an annual capital works budget that delivers for our growing community!
