We are currently looking for a Content Management Officer to join our dynamic Content Management team!
This team is responsible for creating and managing all online content referenced by a diverse range of customers and stakeholders including residents, ratepayers, visitors and businesses to source Council information and resources.
Across our website and intranet, we have content available for every service Council provides. From animal registrations, to community leasing, events, public health information and maintenance requests - we ensure everything is referenced and documented to offer the most effective and efficient services to our customers and stakeholders.
In addition to producing and maintaining our online content and resources, our Content Management team is responsible for identifying and actioning business requirement and improvement opportunities, as well as reviewing processes to optimise service delivery. The team advocates for quality and proactively engages with internal customers and stakeholders on a regular basis to achieve quality assurance, business process alignment and provide advice on analytical data.
The Content Management team has a critical function in streamlining our service delivery and ensuring our stakeholders and customers always have the most updated information and resources available to them.

About you
We’re looking for an individual with a working knowledge of website management and content requirements, including website accessibility, user experience (UX) and search engine optimisation (SEO). With demonstrated experience using digital platforms or content management systems, the ideal candidate will also have a basic proficiency in design programs and editing software including photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
Under pressure you will be able to manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines and have strong analytical skills to support the improvement of user’s online experiences and online customer service functions. You will thrive in and support a team environment based on high performance, continuous improvement and customer service.
Most importantly, you must have a willingness to learn everything about Council and our services, strong communication and literacy skills to develop web-based reference materials as well as communicate effectively.
