About the role
Join City of Moreton Bay as a Procurement Support Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a Procurement Support Officer you'll be supporting the Operations department with procurement functions including raising purchase orders, managing purchase order amendments, receipt of goods and processing invoices. You'll be a central part of a small team, acting as the point of contact for all procurement related matters, ensuring that all requests comply with Council procurement policies, strategies and frameworks. You'll also:
- Prepare reports for auditing to ensure compliance
- Provide technical support relating to the procurement of goods and services
- Respond to procurement queries and proactively engage with key stakeholders
- Participate in the Operational Disaster Event Management response on behalf of the Operations department, updating the community with information in Council’s web page and gathering and distributing important site-based information from the field
- Contribute to a positive team environment and customer focused culture.
