Join City of Moreton Bay as a Content Strategist, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
In this role, you’ll support the Content Management Team to deliver user-focused website content that meets customer expectations, enhances digital experiences, and aligns with content lifecycle best practices. Working closely with business units across Council, the team ensures content is readable, accessible, and informed by user data and analytics. You will also:
- Identify and implement process improvements to ensure digital content meets best practice and lifecycle standards
- Develop schedules and plans for gathering content requirements from stakeholders
- Support integration of online service categories and contribute to customer service marketing strategy
- Apply expertise in content structure, accessibility, usability and SEO to solve platform issues
- Participate in UX improvement projects and collaborate with IT teams to align content strategy with digital architecture
- Support reporting and analytics to measure content effectiveness and inform strategy

About you
We’re looking for an experienced content creator versed in the overarching strategy of online written and visual communication to support ongoing positive customer experiences.
Your experience in writing, editing and reworking a range of content types provides you with a solid framework to confidently guide strategic focus and create effective content management plans, templates and style guides.
Your strong understanding of digital analytics will support your strategic direction and approach to improve online user experiences. Under pressure you will be able to manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines.
You’ll bring expertise in:
- website accessibility
- content style guides and template creation
- readability
- content/copy writing and editing
- user experience (UX)
- user interface (UI)
- search engine optimisation (SEO)
