As our Asset Management Analyst, you’ll support the development, maintenance and improvement of Council’s strategic asset management practices. You’ll lead lifecycle modelling, analyse complex asset datasets, and provide insights that directly influence renewal planning, budget development, and long‑term infrastructure strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop, operate, and maintain asset lifecycle models in partnership with internal subject matter experts.
• Act as Council’s technical specialist for lifecycle modelling, training staff, documenting processes, and ensuring high‑quality model outputs.
• Analyse and communicate renewal modelling outcomes to support asset management plans and forecast capital renewal budgets.
• Extract, interpret and report on asset and financial data to inform annual reporting and Council’s budget development process.
• Support improvement initiatives to enhance asset lifecycle modelling systems, data quality and asset management processes.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Foundational knowledge and experience in infrastructure asset management aligned to ISO 55000 principles.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in lifecycle modelling, renewals forecasting and asset data management.
• Proficiency in relevant software, programming languages and data analysis tools.
• The ability to manage large datasets with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• A degree in Engineering, Data Science, Asset Management, or another related quantitative discipline.
