Join City of Moreton Bay as a Library Services Coordinator and lead the delivery of innovative, community‑focused library services across our growing region.

Reporting to the Library Services Manager, you will lead the delivery of consistent, contemporary, and customer‑focused library services across five libraries within the City of Moreton Bay’s 10‑library network. Working in close collaboration with your fellow Library Services Coordinator, you will provide leadership and support to your respective group of Library Branch Leaders to ensure high‑quality customer experiences across the region. You will:

  • Lead and mentor five Library teams, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer experience.
  • Coordinate service delivery across your allocated libraries, ensuring consistency, responsiveness, and alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Provide expert advice to the Library Services Manager on strategy, budgets, reporting, and service enhancement opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Library Senior Leadership Team to plan and deliver library facility improvement projects that elevate customer experience and support contemporary service models.
  • Oversee the customer experience function for your part of the network, managing escalated service matters and reporting on service outcomes.
  • Lead workforce planning and development initiatives that support effective, future‑focused service delivery across your portfolio.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Library and Information Management or other relevant field and hold/be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check for child related employment (Blue Card).
