Join City of Moreton Bay as an Executive Support and Project Officer, and provide high‑level executive, administrative and project support to the General Manager Community and Environmental Services (CES).
Working closely with the Senior Executive Support Officer and Executive Support Officer in the CES support team, you will:
- Prepare high‑level correspondence, reports and documents.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring professional handling, timely responses and effective follow‑up.
- Research and investigate issues and escalations from Councillors, residents, stakeholders and internal teams, providing accurate advice aligned with legislation and Council policy.
- Liaise with Councillors, departmental officers, customers and stakeholders using sound judgement, confidentiality and diplomacy, particularly on sensitive or political matters.
- Lead administration of Council’s volunteer management system (Better Impact), coordinate process reviews, and support volunteer training requirements.
- Develop and implement Directorate performance reporting, including PowerBI dashboards.
- Lead internal communications for the Directorate, including MS Teams channels, monthly updates and newsletters.
- Monitor CES Directorate safety investigations in IRIS and coordinate close‑out with departmental teams.
- Oversee the Directorate’s Fees and Charges process to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
- Support the Directorate’s uniform program, including procurement, guidance on allocations and budget management.
This is a part‑time position working 24 hours per week, we anticipate the working hours to be across four days (Tuesday to Friday).

- Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to work effectively in a positive team environment
