The Details:

  • Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
  • $76,711 pa + 12% super (level 2)
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Narangba

This role provides comprehensive operational backing to the WHS function, ensuring precise data management, streamlined coordination of training and health activities, and smooth handling of correspondence and events. It also plays an active part in advancing strategic safety improvements while upholding discretion and sound judgement when dealing with sensitive matters.

About you

We are seeking someone with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly, manage varied responsibilities efficiently, and adapt quickly to shifting priorities. This person will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, plan proactively, and remain ready for urgent needs.
 
Our ideal candidate will contribute to refining processes, uphold exceptional record‑keeping standards, and maintain well‑organised and accurate files while managing a high workload with attention to detail.
 
You will have confidence in engaging with colleagues by phone, in person, and through written correspondence, along with strong internal stakeholder interaction skills. 
 
You will have proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and the capacity to quickly learn and apply Council’s corporate systems, policies, and procedures.
