In this newly created role you will be pivotal in shaping Council’s proactive executive level talent engagement strategy - building strong networks, generating market intelligence and positioning City of Moreton Bay to attract exceptional talent now and into the future.
As our Principal Executive Sourcing Partner, you will:
- Lead proactive executive talent identification, building networks and pipelines to strengthen succession and future capability
- Design and embed best-practice sourcing and talent engagement strategies across the organisation
- Partner with senior leaders to translate workforce priorities into targeted recruitment strategies for specialist or hard to fill roles
- Provide expert insight on talent markets, candidate engagement and sourcing methodologies
- Build and nurture high-quality relationships with specialist and passive talent
- Strengthen Council’s presence in key talent markets through industry and professional networks
- Leverage data and insights to continuously improve sourcing effectiveness and outcomes
- Bring our Employee Value Proposition to life through targeted attraction and outreach strategies

About you
You are a highly experienced talent professional with a proactive, relationship-first approach to executive level sourcing and engagement. You thrive in complex, fast-moving environments and bring a commercial mindset to everything you do. You will bring:
- Extensive experience in talent acquisition, executive search or specialist recruitment
- A strong track record of building and leveraging professional networks to deliver outcomes
- The ability to partner credibly with senior leaders and influence hiring strategies
- Expertise in proactive sourcing approaches, particularly for specialist or hard-to-fill roles
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Analytical capability, using talent insights and market intelligence to drive decisions
- A passion for delivering innovative attraction strategies that elevate organisational capability
