We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Executive Support Officer to support our newly appointed General Manager Corporate Communications and Engagement.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a fast-paced and high-profile environment, providing strategic and operational support that enables the General Manager and leadership team to focus on delivering outcomes for our growing community.
As a trusted partner, you'll be the person who keeps priorities on track, anticipates challenges before they arise and ensures the smooth operation of a busy executive office.
In this role, you will:
- Manage a busy diary, competing priorities and executive commitments.
- Coordinate projects and key initiatives, including departmental logistics with an impending office move and organisational change activities.
- Prepare, coordinate and monitor briefing materials, committee documentation and meeting actions.
- Organise conferences, seminars, workshops and stakeholder events.
- Draft high quality correspondence, reports and presentations.
- Provide financial administration support, including credit card reconciliation, invoice processing and budget coordination.
- Track deadlines and ensure follow-up actions are completed within required timeframes.
- Investigate and resolve complex enquiries, matters and escalations.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build strong working relationships and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
