- Location: Work across our three Environment Centres - Kumbartcho Sanctuary (Eatons Hill), Osprey House (Griffin) & CREEC (Burpengary)

Join City of Moreton Bay as an Environmental Centre Officer and contribute to the delivery of exceptional visitor experiences across our environmental centres, inspiring our community through education, conservation and sustainability.
In this diverse role, you'll support the daily operations of Council's environmental centre network, helping to connect people with nature through engaging educational experiences, environmental initiatives and community programs. Working closely with volunteers, visitors and key stakeholders, you'll play an important role in promoting environmental awareness and delivering positive outcomes for our community.
Additionally, you will:

Deliver and facilitate a range of environmental education activities, including centre tours, school and community group programs and school holiday activities.

Coordinate and support a network of volunteers, ensuring they are engaged, trained and equipped to contribute to quality service delivery and positive visitor experiences.

Provide quality customer service as a key point of contact for visitors, community environment groups and the broader community.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support environmental projects, community initiatives and positive environmental outcomes.

About you
You are a collaborative and customer focused professional who is passionate about environmental education and creating positive visitor experiences. You thrive working with a diverse range of people and can build strong relationships with volunteers, community groups and stakeholders.
With experience coordinating and supporting volunteers, you have excellent communication, organisation and time management skills, enabling you to balance competing priorities while working both independently and as part of a team.
You will also hold:
- Current C Class Driver Licence
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current Apply First Aid certification.
