  • $33.51 per hour + super (up to 12%)

About our opportunity

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated University Student to join our Corporate Communications team!

Our Corporate Communications team partner with the various departments of Council to provide strategic communication planning advice and graphic design.

Whilst working alongside professionals in this field, you will gain invaluable knowledge in your area of studies while being responsible for providing general marketing, communications and administrative support to the team.

Your typical day may involve, but won’t be limited to:

  • Fielding communications requests through our workflow system, Monday.com, and working with internal stakeholders to gather details of their requirements.
  • Developing and editing communications material and content across a range of channels, including social media.
  • Contributing to communications activities as required.
  • Providing administrative support to the team.

Your enthusiasm and drive will be paired with exceptional verbal & written communication skills as we strive to provide a great experience for all of our stakeholders we interact with.

You will bring your strong interpersonal skills and possess the ability to ensure all requests are dealt with in a timely manner.

You will be currently enrolled in relevant university studies and be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week (Monday to Friday).

Relevant studies will ideally have a Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or Communications focus.
