Join City of Moreton Bay as a Senior Facilities Officer, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a Senior Facilities Officer you'll be providing operational support to the Project & Maintenance Services Coordinator by undertaking defects assessments and management of minor works programs, and providing reports detailing compliance and technical advice for escalated maintenance matters. You'll also be:
- Leading the development of specifications and tenders, procurement and project management of assigned projects and packaged works
- Maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders and tenants of assigned buildings and facilities to meet and exceed client service
- level expectations
- Providing operational support to the daily work across Facilities Maintenance teams
- Participating in an on-call roster, having responsibility for after-hours call out on council buildings and facilities.

About you
We're looking for someone with great experience in a Building's & Facilities maintenance role with a building trade qualified person, who likes to work in a busy team, with a customer focus. You'll also bring:
- Experience preparing documents related to project delivery and externally contracted building maintenance.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Codes of Practice and Building Code of Australia would be highly beneficial
- Great relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Good MS Office and maintenance management systems skills e.g. MS Project
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business Management or Leadership, or relevant and demonstrable experience
- Trade qualification in a relevant or complimentary building trade (required)
- Current C class driver’s licence (required)
- Construction Induction Card competency (required).
