Join City of Moreton Bay as a Senior Engineer - Roads, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.

As a Senior Engineer - Roads you will act as a point of contact for contract and quality matters, providing sound advice, innovation
and problem solving, focused on road and civil issues. You'll mange and deliver the engineering design, review, procurement process,  project and construction management and programming for road infrastructure renewal projects.

You'll also:

• Provide technical support consulting with a range of internal and external stakeholders, focused on whole of life asset costs
• Manage contract works to ensure projects are completed in accordance with contractual, quality and delivery timeframes
• Monitor and report on project and program delivery, financial, quality, timing and safety requirements
• Ensure contractual compliance through scheduled inspections and investigations including construction hold points, final and defect
• inspections, assessment of payment claims and variations
• Supervise and support team members and contractors to ensure construction works are undertaken safely, effectively, efficiently.

About you

We're looking for your comprehensive experience applying engineering principles to achieving sound engineering solutions, and strength in building relationships across a broad suite of professional, technical, operational and administrative teams. You'll also bring:

• Strong time management skills to manage conflicting priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Strong ability to work constructively in a team environment encouraging team members to meet objectives
• Demonstrated experience in working in a multi-disciplinary work environment in a positive and constructive manner.
• Degree qualification in civil engineering recognised by Engineers Australia (required)
• Construction Induction Card competency (required or willing to obtain)
• Current C class driver's license (required).
