  • Permanent Part Time | 54 hour fortnight (detailed roster below)
  • $42.21 per hour + 12% super (level 3)
  • Location: Strathpine - Pine Rivers Art Gallery

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Gallery Officer, and help shape and deliver cultural programs that enhance and engage our diverse and growing community.

As our Gallery Officer you will oversee routine gallery operations at our Pine Rivers Art Gallery and assist with developing, promoting and delivering exciting public programs and events…from tours, workshops, opening celebrations, family-friendly events, and more!

Reporting directly to the Gallery Leader, you will assist in developing team members’ skills, overseeing their work and identifying opportunities for learning and growth - all whilst building upon your own leadership skills.

You will help continue to drive a culture that generates positive visitor experiences. Our galleries are destinations for experiencing, learning, and engaging and this role will welcome diverse audiences, connecting them with all that the gallery has to offer.

Council currently has galleries located at Caboolture, Redcliffe and Strathpine. You may also be asked to work at our other venues and at gallery events out of ordinary hours on occasion.

Hours of work

This role will work 9:45am to 4:15pm, on a fortnightly rotational roster:

  • Week 1: Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Week 2: Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

About you

We are seeking someone with a passion for art and cultural programs and experienced in delivering exceptional customer service in a visitor-focused cultural facility... sound like you?

You will be a natural communicator, and be able to demonstrate in your application your experience in developing, delivering and analysing data to assess success of public programs.
