The details:
- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $69,344 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 5)
- Great news - EBA6 is currently in the final stages, with a proposed remuneration increase of 5% on the above rate
- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Burpengary - please note, this position will be moving to a Narangba location in the coming months.

Support our Roads and Drains regional services team by operating Council vehicles to transport materials and plant equipment across the City of Moreton Bay. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of essential resources to our Roads and Drains work crews.
- operate tipper trucks with trailer attachments and other equipment in line with your licence and training
- conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain the vehicle's condition
- transport and assist with loading/unloading materials and equipment at designated sites
- occcasionally assist with general labouring duties when not operating a vehicle
You’ll work closely with operational crews, perform pre start checks and follow safety procedures to support efficient and safe service delivery. A commitment to high safety standards and collaboration is essential.
Additional responsibilities include:
- keeping vehicles clean and in good working order
- promptly reporting defects or maintenance needs
- adhering to all relevant Council processes and procedures

About you
We're seeking someone with:
- demonstrated truck driving experience, including operating tipper trucks and transporting plant/equipment
- a safe driving history and a willingness to learn new technology and software
- confidence with manual tasks and a collaborative approach to teamwor
- a genuine commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Mandatory requirements:
- current HC (Heavy Combination) truck licence
- a Construction Induction card - or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
