- 12 month Maximum Term Full Time Contract | 9 day fortnight
- This is a Parental Leave role, and it is anticipated appointment will be until August 2026.
- $94,414pa + 12% super (level 5)
- Great news - EBA6 currently is underway, with a proposed increase of 5% effective 1 July 2025

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Spatial Administrator and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a member of the Geographic Information Services team you will act as a point of contact for systems administration matters by providing specialist advice, innovation and problem solving for management on Geographical Information System (GIS) matters. You will provide access to GIS data repositories, applications and services, ensure data accuracy and provide second tier support for the help desk.
Additionally, you will:
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support collaborative and efficient spatial administration.
- Maintain the integrity and security of GIS data repositories and metadata through robust database design and quality controls.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement approved enhancements based on stakeholder consultation and future needs.
About you:
We are looking for someone that holds a qualification in geospatial technologies or information management and demonstrated experience in a similar role including the administration of enterprise geographic information systems, databases and web mapping applications. You will be someone who can pick up processes quickly and have well-developed people and relationship skills.
You’ll bring:
- Extensive knowledge of the ESRI ArcGIS suite (Desktop, Pro, Enterprise and Online) and FME software
- Proficiency in python, ArcGIS REST APIs and Esri Arcade
- Knowledge of SQL query development
