Lead the way at City of Moreton Bay, coordinating museum and heritage programs that make a real impact in our communities.

As a Heritage and Museums Coordinator, you will:

  • lead a team of around 35 staff across museums and heritage programs
  • drive strategic planning and delivery of museum and heritage services
  • guide museum teams in the creation contemporary and dynamic venues, engaging exhibitions, programs and visitor experiences
  • oversee integrated heritage services across museums and libraries
  • manage projects, operations, facilities and service improvements
  • oversee staffing, collections, budgets and facilities to meet strategic goal

This role sits within our Cultural Services Department, which includes Galleries, Heritage and Museums, Libraries, Arts and Cultural Activation. Our Heritage and Museums service aims to provide opportunities to engage with local history and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge, innovative museum exhibitions and public programs, creating a sense of place and belonging. We strive for excellence in delivering a sense of identity for City of Moreton Bay, through the sharing of histories, stories, collections and experiences that encourage visitors to explore, discover and connect.
