You’ll be responsible for coordinating daily operations, leading team members and ensuring tasks are completed safely and to a high standard. Your leadership will help maintain the quality and presentation of public open spaces across various environments.

Key Duties:

  • Undertaking general horticultural maintenance, including:
    • Mowing and brush cutting
    • Planting and mulching
    • Pruning and weeding
    • Chemical application (as required)
  • Operate and maintain relevant equipment and machinery
  • Drive truck and trailer to and from work sites
  • Supervise and support team members in the field
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and work standards

In addition to fieldwork, you’ll use digital tools (such as tablets or computers) to manage basic administrative tasks. This includes creating and updating work orders, reviewing maintenance schedules and identifying the resources and materials needed for each task or project.

Together, your leadership in the field and your organisational skills will drive the successful upkeep of our green open space assets.
