- $83,542 pa + 12% super (level 3)

About the role
As our Facilities Officer - Technical Services you'll deliver and supervise end-to-end daily operational maintenance and technical services across a variety of Council’s mechanical and electrical assets and systems, supporting the delivery of the defects management strategy and delivering corrective maintenance works. You'll also:
- Scope and develop specifications to project manage capital and operational, mechanical and electrical projects in a safely
- Manage procurement activities for contracted services, including managing safety and performance of service providers
- Work collaboratively with, and manage the work of external contractors, to ensure safe, effective and efficient customer focused outcomes
- Participate in an on-call roster, having responsibility for after-hours call out on council buildings and facilities.

About you
We're looking for your trade-based construction, facility maintenance and operations or project management experience, focused on mechanical or electrical services sectors, and delivering technical and operational maintenance services in a fast-paced customer focused environment. You'll also bring:
- Ability to prepare and present clear, concise and accurate reports.
- Communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and external contractors across multiple trades
- Stakeholder liaison skills to effectively communicate and negotiate at all levels of the organisation
- Understanding of the Building Codes of Australia
- Trade qualified in a relevant or complimentary building trade or relevant experience, preferably in the electrical field
Current C Class Driver’s Licence required
Construction Induction Card competency required.
