The Details:
- Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- 6 month opportunity with potential to extend to the end of 25/26 financial year
- $86,815pa + 12% super (level 4 EBA5 rate stated)
Great news - EBA6 is currently in the final stages, with a proposed increase of 5% on the above rate
- 72.5 hour fortnight

Join the newly formed Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) where you'll play a key role in planning and implementing the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software.
This is a great opportunity to be involved from the foundational stages and gain exposure to the implementation of a new system within the organisation - supporting timely delivery, stakeholder alignment and successful system integration.
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with an external provider to deliver an agile software implementation project, contributing the scoping and prioritisation of user stories and acceptance testing.
- Contribute to the development of project documentation, including project scope, initiation, planning, cost estimation, scheduling, and communication/risk plans.
- Support the effective and efficient communication of project progress to the Project Sponsor and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Conduct research and analysis as needed to support successful project delivery.
- Engage proactively with key stakeholders to ensure project deliverables and outcomes are achieved.

About you
You will be excited about the prospect of working on this implementation project and bring experience in project planning and development processes, in addition to an interest or previous experience in the delivery of ICT software projects.
You will bring a working knowledge of project management principles and practices, and well-developed research and analysis skills.
As a natural communicator you will be confident to communicate concepts in a simple and concise manner, work closely with our stakeholders across Council, and bring the ability to prepare project documents, specifications and schedules.
