Join City of Moreton Bay as a Resilient Rivers SEQ Catchment Coordinator, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As our Resilient Rivers SEQ Catchment Coordinator you will have the opportunity to manage development and delivery of Resilient Rivers SEQ projects in City of Moreton Bay and support development of Catchment Action Plans and other associated initiatives.
You will;
- design, lead and facilitate stakeholder field days, knowledge sharing sessions and workshops to partner with, empower and educate stakeholders
- prepare project plans and reports for Council and Resilient Rivers Southeast Queensland, including project options, designs, progress reports, finances, monitoring and performance
- be the key point of contact - liaising, engaging, consult and negotiating with Government agencies, businesses, NGOs, traditional owner groups, community members and landholders taking a partnership approach to achieve project goals and positive waterway outcomes.

About you
We are seeking someone who is great at connecting people through projects, engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders with the ability to represent council as a part of this role. You will have extensive experience in end-to-end project management, project development, procurement and delivery.
You will bring a level of expertise with a focus on experience in catchment management, hydrology or geomorphology, waterway ecology and environmental management including the ability to assess environmental risk.
It is important you have refined skills in the implementation of natural resource programs with measurable and realistic objectives.
You will have tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Geomorphology and/or other relevant discipline with minimum of five (5) years demonstrated practical experience. You will have a current Queensland C Class driver's licence.
