  • $91,156pa + 12% super (level 4)
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.

As an Admin and Executive Support Officer, known in our organisation as Project Delivery Support Officer, you will support the Manager Project Development and Delivery working on admin projects, providing expert advice and assistance in relation to business issues, initiatives and proposals, and contribute meeting support and facilitation to monitor follow-up actions to meet timeframes. You'll also:

  • Research and investigate a range of complex matters and issues to assist in formulating responses for the Manager Project Delivery and senior staff
  • Coordinate the ongoing review of administrative and corporate governance processes
  • Collaborate effectively with other senior support staff and administrative staff in the department to deliver a seamless support service to the Manager and department
  • Effectively organise and supervise meetings/ functions and arrange conferences, seminars and workshops for the department
  • Prepare and deliver purchase orders, manage reconciliation of corporate credit card and process financial claims
  • Liaise with Councillors, departmental officers, customers and residents, using a high degree of judgement, initiative, confidentiality and diplomacy
  • Liaise with the Senior Executive Support Officer to ensure a full collaborative administration support service is in place for the department
  • Provide backup coverage to the Senior Executive Support Officer during periods of leave to ensure continuity of service and maintain high standards of operational support.

About you

We're looking for your strong admin experience as well as experience applying continuous process improvement practices for the delivery of administrative services. You'll also bring:

  • Great communication and the ability exercise sound judgement in the handling of complex issues, confidentially, in a politically sensitive environment
  • Critical thinking, reasoning, evaluation and decision-making skills.
  • Time management, work prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Extensive experience in providing high level administrative and business support to a manager in a large complex business or local government environment
  • Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence (required).
